Bude Marine Group works to extend the knowledge of marine life in the Bude area. To understand the marine environment and the influences on it, so that we can protect and enhance it for the benefit of all.

Sunday 6 August 2023 at 2.00pm.
Some of us will be doing a quadrat survey*; and we hope to do a more informal walkover survey at the same time if numbers allow.!
Meet at the beach entry from the carpark, or go north and look for our flag.!
The council car park EX23 0AW; cafe & toilets. !
Please dress appropriately with footwear suitable for water and slippery rock –
wellies or wetsuit boots, no flip flops. No dogs please.
If the weather looks unsuitable please check our social media.

*Walkover surveys are an informal search, recording any findings. Suitable for
any level of experience and newcomers.
*Quadrat surveys accurately count the number of each species within several
0.5m X 0.5m 'quadrat' grids.
